The Titan Missile Museum is the home of the only Titan II missile not dismantled and destroyed. Visitors can go 35 feet under ground to see an actual Titan II missile, tour the deactivated Launch Control Center, and be photographed by the re-entry vehicle or 430,000 lb thrust first stage rocket engine all found at this National Historic Landmark.
Location: From Tucson, take Interstate 19 south 25 miles to Green Valley. Take Exit 69, Duval Mine Road, west 1/10th of a mile past La Caņada to the museum entrance.
Parking: Ample free parking for cars, buses, motor homes, etc.
Hours of operation: May 1- Oct. 31st:
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Wednesday - Sunday, 

Nov. 1 - April 30: 
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Everyday
(Closed thanksgiving and Christmas).

Arranging a Visit: Reservations required for group tours, and recommended for others. No fee is charged for school groups and non-profit agencies. One adult is required for every 10 children. Additional adults will be charged regular admission. Tour lasts 1 hour and requires considerable walking (no heels).
Tour description: Guided tours begin in the briefing room and proceed outside where the visitor will see, among other things, the rocket engines and re-entry vehicle. Tours are offered every half-hour, including a 35-foot decent into the silo and conclude in the gallery/gift area.
Other resources: Speakers are available for club meetings and school outreach presentations.
