Flandrau Science Center offers instructional school shows, public science and astronomy programs, a 16" public telescope open 4 nights a week (weather permitting), and an exhibit hall featuring many science topics including sound, light, optical illusions, magnetism and astronomy.
Location: Northeast corner of University Blvd. and Cherry Ave. on the University of Arizona campus.
Parking: Ample free parking on nights and weekends, weekdays use pay lot across the street (south). Parking available for school buses.

Arranging a Visit: Reservations are required with at least one week advance notice. The fee for schools is $1.00 per person for self-guided tours of the exhibits only, $3.00 per person for exhibits and planetarium. Science workshops can be added for $0.50 per person for half-hour workshop, or $1.00 per person for a full hour workshop. Workshops are limited to 35 people (including adults).

One chaperone per eight students is required and will be admitted at no charge. Additional chaperones will be charged at the per-person rates listed above.

Tour description: Theater and exhibit programs are one hour each. Maximum group size is 60 for exhibits, or 120 for the theater program.
