The Postal History Foundation, a privately funded non-profit organization, is the hub of postal research and education in the southwest. While it maintains one of the largest and one of the finest facilities dedicated to postal history in the western United States, the Foundation is also the only philatelic museum that operates an extensive youth education program. In addition, the Peggy J Slusser Memorial Philatelic Library houses a collection of more than 30,000 books, journals, reference materials and USPS publications. The Postal History Foundation also houses a full service USPS post office.
Location:One and one half blocks south of Speedway, one block west of Euclid on the East Side of the street

Hours of Operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The philatelic station is open 8.00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Gift Shop:The Foundation has a sales department of world-wide stamps, covers, and philatelic literature. A small gift area stocks postcards, books and unique postal memorabilia.

Arranging a Visit:Tours are available for individuals and small groups Mon., Wed., Fri. 9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Reservations are required for small groups.
Outreach Programs:Speakers and classroom representatives are available to work with teachers to enrich classroom instruction using postage stamps and to speak on the history of the United States Postal Service.
